The man that has brought joy to many eardrums across Africa with his infectious cross-over hit 'African Queen' has been a victim of armed robeery shooting - his second incident in two years. Twenty-two pellets were said to have been removed from the thigh of the famous singer, whose real name is Tu-Face Idibia. The unfortunate incident took place in the early hours of Friday, 5th of October, 2007.
At this time, it is reported that this act was carried out by suspected armed robbers. We have no reason to believe at this point that this was an organised operation. We shall keep you updated in the singer's recovery process.
